To the guy below, pienaar, crouch, and kaboul are vital to our squad.

just to make things clear kaboul is a top top defender. before he got a red and injured he was by far our best player.
crouch is 30 but still has it in him in big games. why sell crouch when we can use his advantage. would just be a waste of time replacing him, as he could sit on the bench and offer us that useable dimention.
pienaar is a good squad player who has proven he can play good football.
jenas is a good squad player who can fill in.
these are player we WILL not and should not sell.
take a look at man utd, they have players like fletcher, anderson, gibson. . al player sthat could be sold but won't WHY BECAUSE they are good squad players. this is what make sup your team.

the rest of the squad i agree with. hutton, pavlychenko, bassong, woodgate, bentley, ohara, keane. al need to go.
we can't sell a whole load of players as it would be pointless.

richards, pletikosa, el habsi, aguero, heinze should all be signed.

respectfully you need to do a little research about our squad judgeing by the players you want us to sell and the players brought in.
eg. hazard is a strong chelsea and arsenal target and would only consider them, plus why do we need him when we have 2 top wingers.

Foreign players in Spain only get a beneficial tax rate for five years, Aguerro will have hit five years in summer. Prior to signing his recent new contract his salary was 4.9 mill euro's a year (equal to roughly £85k a week). No doubt it will have increased but talk of having to pay a salary of £200k a week is not right at all
I'm not suggesting Spurs are likely to sign him although if they do make CL again they would possibly have a chance depending on what competition they face, but Ed your suggestion of 200k a week is miles wide of the mark {Ed001's Note - you are forgetting that the players are paid differently on the continent. They are paid an amount AFTER tax, so that 85k a week is his pay after any taxes are removed, not before as we do over here. His current salary will still be calculated after tax is taken and is reported to be over 100k a week. Regardless of tax breaks he will still receive that amount because that is how their contracts work. To match the salary he is receiving you would be looking at paying 200k a week to him, you can argue the point all you like but that is how it is. This is one of the things that used to cause enormous problems and stopped a lot of foreign players moving to England. They were being offered a contract and thought it was a post-tax amount only to find it was pre-tax.}

Someone wrote - 'Ive seen harry rednapp this moarning and i asked him in the summer who does levy want to sign and he said fabiano, rossi, van bommel, gomez, richards, cahil and clichy'

Well this post is just ridiculous for so many reasons:
1. The informer cannot even spell morning.
2. Fabiano signed for Sao Paulo a considerable 7m Euros and pledged his future to Brazilian football and his family.
3. Van Bommel was 34 when he was offered to Spurs and it was Harry who politely declined. This is merely a comforting support for his mate Van Der Vaart, and there is no intention on signing a has been. In addition have you not noticed Sandro lately, as well as Diarra who is Harry's old mate and looking for a job.
4. Cahill maybe a target but his price inflation will mean this is merely a pipedream. Sure if he was available for £7-8m Spurs might buy, but at 15-20m I doubt they will give a second glance.
5. Gomez is a possibility but Spurs already have better and therefore as much a possibility as Adam, Wickham & Green.
6. Clichy to Spurs is so stupid I won't even comment.
7. Micah Richard is the only plausible suggestion, and if City will part for £7m then this might happen.
