Why does Harry spend so much time on Sky Sports News? What's wrong with spending some time on getting tactics right, like out on the training pitch, not in the studio looking like he has had 3 bottles of claret before the interview.

What the heck are England thinking if they make Dell Boy the new manager. He has not got an ounce of class. He is so far up his own copacabana it is incredible. He sacrificed Spurs for his own agenda. I would pay England the 10 million compo to take him. Rodgers/Lambert would be 100 times preferable to Dell Boy.

Chelsea winning tonight was the best thing that could have happened to us. They have now got two finals to worry about and have injuries and suspensions which should keep their mind off fourth spot. Newcastle have an extremely difficult finish so if we can finally put a run together we can still win a champions league spot despite having the worst record in the premership over the last 14 games. It is in our own hands. As things turned out, with 18 games left, 7 wins would have got us a definate fourth place and possibly third. It therefore follows that if we dont get fourth Harry must be sacked as he is ultimately responsible. I also blame Levy. The miserable bas---d would not spend any cash in December. All he did was sell players and reduce the wage bill by putting players out on loan. He thought that we were so far ahead and challenging for the title (that is a laugh) that we were guaranteed fourth so why flash the cash. The whole thing is disgusting.

He did the same thing 12 months previously. If Levy could save just a £1 he would.

If Chelsea win the CL final it won't matter who gets 4th spot

Agree0 Disagree0

If Chelski win the champs league then they will get an automatic group stag place next year and 3rd place finishers will have the quailfier place..(ed's is that correct?) so even if we finish forth (which I doubt at the mo) we will be relegated to the UFEA Europa league. Again is that correct ed's? {Ed001's Note - yes. If Chelsea win, it will be 3 for league placings and them.}

Agree0 Disagree0

I realise that but I do not expect Chelsea to beat Madrid or Bayern.

Blame Levy? Since when has he been slow to spend money? Looking at the seasons 2006/07 through to this season, he has sanctioned £241,000,000 of spending and recouped, via sales, £176,000,000. Who exactly will argue that our club hasnt spent far more than the majority? Redknapp himself made it clear, in the January transfer window, that he could bring players in IF he felt that they would be beneficial to the team. Money was available, it always has been as the above figures proved. Id say that shows we have been punching well above our weight in terms of spending to income and the fact that we are not in financial meltdown ( like many other clubs) is because that, like him or not, Levy is a shrewd business man. If you want to get angry, get angry with 'arry, he had the squad which was better than 99% of our rivals and he has failed! Fatigue, rotation, all of that is irrelevent when you are storming away from the pack and are looking at a decent run in with a highly ( or should be) motivated squad, in the winning groove who know that the final push would deliver Champions league football next season. Whats gone wrong has gone wrong in the dressing room and on the touchline with a manager that has failed to motivate and demonstrated that he is a tactical dunce who cannot make game changing decisions on the pitch when needed. All clubs suffer injuries to key players, all clubs find, at times, that they are threadbare squad wise and all clubs go through a loss of form BUT most of them dont fuggin go into meltdown and lose form like Fernando Torres. Thats unforgiveable. This is another club Redknapp will walk away from leaving in it in a sort of chaos that could set us back several seasons. Finally, If you REALLY think Levy is to blame, fatigue or just bad luck has sat on our shoulders, i have one word for you: Newcastle.

Fully whole heartedly agree with the above post on one minor thing
When redknapp leaves at least with levy being as good buisness wise as he is we won't be crippled financially ..
I an one to show my support to levy he is a brilliant buisness man who cares if he's shrewd ? So long as we have the money at the end to spend which we do .... It was stated in January we had a good wedge to spend should it be needed ...
The main man to blame here is Harry redknapp and second the players .... As really should it effect them this much ?
Levy is a diamond ... Couldn't ask for a better chairman .... Unless you are one for having a oil tycoon as a chairmen
But if that's the case your supporting the wrong team
Credit has to go to teams that are able to survive financially and that are at the top end if the leuage Without a ocean of cash at there dispense ...
Such as ours
Everton * big credit to Moyes*
Arsenal
Are there others ?
But my prediction
May seem pessimistic
But I see us at best drawing the rest of our games I don't see us winning any

Agree0 Disagree1

I think the main reason we didn't buy too many players in jan was because danny boy appreciated redknapp was probably off, and so didn't want to sign players that wouldn't be wanted by the next manager. That said, letting cisse go for 9 million was unforgivable :)

I would also like to take the time to praise Levy. He is a Spurs supporter with heart and brains! We are in the position due to us being run as a great business. He has put money down to get us to the next level and sometimes it has backfired (Ramos) but he has not kept all the money in his back pocket, or have the club in financial debt (Utd).

We have spent a lot, it's only because we are run so well (thanks Levy) that we still have loads of money to spend! He has bought and sold at some great prices, Modric, Berbs, Parker, Walker, Carrick, Bale, VDV to name but a few.

I think the fault lay with the amount of people Harry or Levy let go on loan. One of the good points of our team was our squad depth.

Naz

Agree3 Disagree1

Naz the fault may come down to both because Harry has seemed clueless with some transfer dealings ....
Vdv ... Calubaily ... Falque Harry I think was apparently told by a reporter in January as had ...
This is possibly because as stated before levy doesn't want to give to much financial power to redknapp if he's going to leave to England .... So I'd say the fault lay with lack of communication perhaps ?
Ie if it has been levy agreeing the loans then Harry should have put his foot down on a few ....
Namely peinaar and not recalling either bassong * I know he's not great but has to be better than nelsen other than nelsens cup game which was a good game for him but bassong is at least athletic and faster which is what we have been sorely missing in the back
And the reason I say peinaar is because he was a good backup player to have which we really didn't give a run of games to in which to allow him to be tested ...
I don't know ... If we lose or draw the next game that's our season over for a top 4 finish .... And the form we are I'm .... I see us finishing 6 th

Agree1 Disagree0

How could Levy have been reluctant to give Redknapp the funds to go into the January transfer window because he suspected 'arry was probably leaving? Capello wasnt sacked till AFTER the transfer window!! Even if there was a chance he was going to go, our position in the table at the time would have given Levy the confidence to give Redknapp the money knowing that it would have consolidated a Champions league place and would, consequently, attract a top class manager to the club if Redknapp did leave. Bare in mind, If we secure Champions league football next season ( we wont) that will bring in tens of millions to the club anyway which would have offset, to a degree, any money that was spent in January... It was a no brainer!

Agree1 Disagree0

You do realise the crys of Harry for england were before cappello left ..... It seemed the whole country was behind him ... And being top of the list even if we had finished 3rd and not gone on this slump redknapp would have left ... Levy knew this knew the fa would be coming for him and before giving away money that we saved *with large parts of money going towards a new stadium* he wanted to be sure we didn't waste money in signings somebody else wouldn't want .... Although according to reports levy gave funds to redknapp anyway if he wanted them ....
And redknapp being the wheeler dealer he is thinking to himself damn we are in a good position only got temps to fill the gaps
And again of course it all crumbled ...
That's why levy has a bloody hard task finding a new manager who can and will keep us in the top 4 every year

Agree0 Disagree0

If it all went wrong in the court case, could Harry have gone to jail before the season ended? or worst case scenario was it just a fine?
