22 Jan 2014 19:30:13 Conversely we haven't done any less than we would expect to overall either. But the acid test will be City, how we line up and how the players respond. Davo your correct, them teams we do expect to beat however dnt forget over the years it's was then kind of team which where we dropped points and because of that failed to get cl Footi . Ps ; Wildly, after last night see what I mean? Davo, But you can only play what's infront of you. 23 Jan 2014 13:28:38 I can't imagine playing City without Sandro or Capoue sitting in front of our back line we will get over run (again). Yellow card, we need Sandro or Capoue, even if it means dropping Dembele to the bench! It's true, we can only beat what's against us and city will be a test . Sherwood has done well so far but it has been against weaker teams although its been done without a batch of our best players! It's his mindset that's a bit worrying, about not playing a defensive midfielder . You can't moan about his attacking policy, although I think we need to persist with Soldado and Lamela . He also seems to have a problem with Capoue, who if Sandro isn't playing, should be there in front of the back four whatever! Also I know Verts been injured, but I worry about his choosing Daws when Verts back! Yes, he's loyal, and always try's his best, but his best isn't good enough! Be interesting to see what happens here . I actually don't have a problem with no true DM against weaker teams. I think we have the talent within the squad to beat most of the lower half of the PL without a DM. But the likes of City, L'Arse, Chelski and Liverpool have the players and pace to exploit our weak back 4. Now Verts coming back is a big step - interesting he played with Kaboul alongside in the friendly . Be interesting to know how Kaboul feels 24/48 hours after that run out.
