I have said for years (must have been on here at times) that Ekotto is a loose-cannon. Very good footballer but totally brainless, he has cost us tons of goals over the years due to being half asleep and his best moments are usually ones recovering from mistakes of his own!

As for our three losses on the trot, one key reason; squad is too small and mis-balanced, now that I have said on here repeatedly. I'm surprised the blip has taken this long, I thought we'd struggle by the Xmas fixture pile-up but we've kept going through that - maybe our remaining fixtures vs our past couple of months worth explains why.

Our best XI maybe 12/13 is good, top 3/4 quality. Playing Europa League and hitting the business end of the league season combined with not enough strikers and not enough players = a downslide that we've started already.

I so want to be wrong but with niggles and knocks growing, fatigue WILL be a factor and we have no cover in attacking positions, struggling for goals without Bale for the past 3months. Fixture list coming up of Swansea A, Everton H, Chelsea A and Man City H. I'm afraid we will not get more than 5-6pts from those games at the most when you consider the Basle tie in the middle of it. The play Reading H, West Brom A, Norwich H and Everton H, 9-10 pts looks good for them. The games are not played on paper but we need to get real. We were short in August, anorexic by January and now we're close to bare bones only.

Refer back to last season we had more (and some better) players and look what happened.

Like I said, I want to be wrong more than anything, just don't think I will be.

AVB cannot really be judged in such a situation as the only position he could really rotate has been centre-back, which he has done like a merry go round.

We can beat everton man city and get something at stamford bridge because we have proved that this season by beating Man U and Arsenal. The real issue is not slipping up against lesser (hate that term but) teams like villa and sunderland who are battling for survival. City's season is over and everton is now a massive game. We need to put out and stick with our best 11 now in all league games til the end of the season and get a run of form going. Still in our hands and I believe AVB can stop the slide that Harry couldnt. COYS

Really don't understand how people can say Professional Footballers get 'Fatigue'. Their fitness levels are exceptional therefore unless they are training hard 7 days a week (which they aren't) they will become fatigue. With the team looking like they are working for each other and AVB, excitement and the passion suppresses any potential fatigue.
