Can't forget that Baldini found Higuain for Madrid in the first place, he can find us some top top top talent. This is a man who signed De Rossi for Roma, for diddly squat money. He signed Lamela and Marcelo. He clearly has an eye for a south american wonder kid. PLEASE DO THE BUSINESS FOR US. {Ed008's Note - Actually De Rossi came through the academy.

Don't worry to much about higuain. There is plenty if other talent out there.
Soldado, negredo, Gomez, villa, hulk, falcao, cavani, Fred to name a few.
These players were always going to go to the likes of arsenal, chavski, Manchester. I just hope we can grab one too.

Yeah I agree, my above post was sort of a question why is no-one else interested? personally I think he is a very good player. Madrid won't sell him to us unless Bale is involved so hey can do one. Would love us to sign Gomez, Bernard, Villa and Soldado/Negredo, whilst offloading ade, parker, and I fell we should blood some youth

Agree though would love him at the lane but not at the expense of bale. Surely if Madrid are just refusing us because we won't sell Bale to them, then this "Link" we have for them is abit 1 sided. Makes me think when we do come to sell Bale we should sell to anyone but them.
Lastly don't see us getting 3 strikers this year and honestly think we'll start season with 2 strikers. Hopefully that'll see us use our youth. My choice is Gomez, Saldado, Bernard and Pauliniho (based on who we're linked with)

Utd have no real need for a striker unless Rooney or someone else leaves. Chelsea and City have other targets atm (Cavani/Jovetic) but Higuain has been linked with Juventus.
Gomez is likely to go to Napoli, Fred won't leave Brazil, Falcao has signed for Monaco, Cavani is likely to go to Chelsea/Madrid/City in that order, Hulk would cost £40m-ish. So that leaves Villa, Soldado and Negredo as possibilities.
Also I don't think Higuain is slow. He's not the quickest but definitely not slow. And he isn't on high wages, if he was then Arsenal certainly wouldn't be getting him with their 100k/week wage structure.

Not really, if Bale stays and WE sign a striker (hopefully Soldado)we can still give the Gooners a hiding. Higuain is a world class forward yes but so are a lot of other attainable targets, such as Soldado, Negredo, Bony, Gomez, Villa, a lot of talent. Stop being a pessimistic Tottenham fan or trolling Gooner.

Looks like things are starting to pik up. I for one hope the paulinho and bernard deals do go through. I think paulinho sando dembele as center 3 would boss games all big athletic players that all bring sumfing different 2 the midfieild because for me variety and mixing it up is all hw u win games in the EPL. Then for me i'd ave a top 3 of bale bernard and jackson martinez I no that one being a long shot but is a possibilty as I think he is avalible if we show the right money and if we do wanna show intent as it looks lyk the goons ave got higuian hu I as I hate 2 say it will b good for them. We can't let them push away. I ave read mixed reviews on here about martinez but for me his physic power pace and strength are all perfect for the premier leauge let alone his finishing this guy scores all sorts of goals right, left foot his head even his back hill if uve watched his you tube vids lol. But 26 goals in 20 leauge for me is good for any leauge be it the pub leauges to pro football. But when it is in a top league it does make it a lot more stand out I mean that's one of the highest ratios for goals throughout any leauge. Then wiv lennon and andros as cover and rotation for the wings to help provide more width in the games that are narrow. Wiv a back gour of walker, vert, kaboul, rose and obvs the mighty hugo in goal this is a team and squad along wiv a few youth players from are exceptional u21 side I believe we could ave a real strong season next year. let's jus hope anyways.

Mate are u mad. For stArters I said dembele in the starting 11. Second of all uve named then anova 3 midefielders as subs even that ain't enough for a hole season let alone the 3 u actually chose. Dempsey never has been a top 4 player should alwais of stayed at fulham. Siggy we should accepted that 10 mill bid from reading in january because again that's where he belongs plus we would of made profit. And holtby has been average and yes I no its early and I personally do hope he gets better. But I really dnt see hw u can say we dnt need paulinho and bernard because we ave dempsey and siggy. U truely r loopy.! U my friend need 2 b realistic. I to love spurs but i'm honest I don't jus kiss arse wiv players jus because they play for us when they blates ain't good enough.!

I can just about translate what you're saying and think you have a decent enough hope/idea there but, have to disagree about Sig. Dempsey may have popped up with an odd goal but is technically poor for what we need, Holtby looks very keen so far but barring an odd good pass and some huff and puff has generally not done much (yet) but, Sigurdsson got stronger as the season went on, decent on the ball, chips in with goals of different types, gets stuck in - he's a decent £7-8m team/squad player for sure I think.
