why all the Parker complaints and wanting him out? Granted not his best season in a new look squad. But a great squad player remember he has been playing because of sandros injury. let's face it for the best part of the season who do we have that is better? Livermore, Carrol, Hudd. He gets stuck in we all know he is not the most skillful but a hard worker and tries he does not shy away like some. Adi, Walker, Beni, and a few more I can mention. If they had his passion we prob be 2nd not begging 4th. LAy off him FFS.
Somink else to throw at you lot. HOLTBY. I still fail to see his quality, Yes he runs tries but not an attacking midfielder BUT a bargain never the less, How about him being the new parker next year?

Parker might round around the pitch in circles, might get a tackle or two, but he is not good enough for us, would rather Hudd played, at least he can pass the ball when he can see through his hair! For a DM, Parker is supposed to play behind Dembele, not perched on the CF 's shoulder as he has been this season!
Yes he gives his all, but his all isn't good enough.

I think we need to move Holtby back into the other cm role. He said himself he does best in the centre of a 3 man midfield. He might be useful there when parker isn't playing well or gone. I want to see him develop his tackling a little more though.

Sorry Mr G, but you seem to have contradicted yourself here, you say Parker works hard and doesn't shy away and then say you fail to see holtby's quality but admits he runs around, people have ago at parker because he just simply is not good enough for us now, he is the modern day Vinny 'Sideways' Samways, he can only go round and round, he can't pass more than 10 yards and his shooting is awful, yes he gets stuck in but he has spent far to much of the season playing in front of Dembele instead of behind him. I would rather have Thudd everyday.

Two big problems with Parker.

1. He is not playing as a Sandro replacement, because Sandro defended and did not stray forward past Dembele. Parker is doing this all the time and he just needs to sit and be the spine of the team. Instead Dembele ends up having to do his job for him and that makes Dembele look bad because his skills are not being utilised.

2. Parker runs around in circles. Now that may sound more emotively based a reason but there is a rationale. Spurs are a fast playing team. We rely upon a high tempo to catch players out of position. If the opposition are attacking then that leaves gaps that we have the skill and pace to exploit (Defoe, Bale, Lennon. ). If we win the ball in midfield then we have to release it quickly to get into this space before the opposition can get men back behind the ball. A perfect example of this is Bale's goal against Utd back last autumn. Sandro wins the ball and then releases it quickly with a simple pass to Dembele. With only Scholes (not the most defensively accomplished player) to beat Dembele dribbles past him, and releases the ball forward. Now it's 2v2 and Utd do not have enough time to get men behind the ball to swamp us out, and following a great run from Defoe to draw one CB it leaves Bale 1v1 - goal.

Next game when Parker gets the ball centrally I advise you to not watch him but watch the opposition team. See how many are behind the ball when he gets it and then how many there are when he releases it. Our attacks break down far too often when really he just needs to play a simple short releasing pass for someone else.

Parker played excellent under Harry but hasn't hit the same form under AVB. All he seems to do is pass it sideways or spin in those silly little circles and eventually lose the ball.

No point in saying he's had a good season as it's obvious he hasn't

a web site have a page quoting international president as saying they have spoken to us, and Damiao will very likely move to England in the summer, although he doesn't say spurs. Also says that he will not go to Napoli. Isn't this the oracles job? Btw this is not my opinion just recycling from another site.

The anti-oracle.

According to reports Manchester United are preparing a £55 million bid for Tottenham Hotspur star Gareth Bale.

It is understood they are willing to include any of three players in a part-exchange deal.

It is believed that newly-crowned champions United are leading the Premier League interest in the 23-year-old and are understood to be preparing a big-money offer in the summer.

According to a web site. com, the players that could be offered as makeweights are Ashley Young, Anderson or Nani.

Real Madrid, Bayern Munich and Barcelona have also been linked with making a bid for Bale.

How lucky can you spuds get, swapping Bale and a few quid for the class acts that are Nani, Young and Anderson. Has there been three bigger chumps than them all season. Oh sorry yes, Rooney, Evra and Cleverley. Maybe you'll get all 6.

There ain't no flies on old red nose!
