In my opinion lookfor more of the same from Redknapp: a few freebies, old friends, a few seniors, and maybe a gem or two. (Portsmouth gems:Krancjar, Johnson, Fernandes, begovic, Lass diarra, muntari) Agree on hazard and huntelaar but still think vertonghen is a possibility; he can also play lb so that covers that position, and with naughton able to play both sides and caulker adding greater depth at cb, the defence would be fairly strong. i think hoilett would be a good signing on a free too add cover out wide. i doubt rossi would come back to england and i think there are better players than ba out there. i'd prioritise a center forward with damiao, remy, giroud being my top targets, id also enquire about a cheap deal to bring berba back as proven cover. i'd also look at dempsey or players of a similar ilk, we need more players like him who run off the ball from midfield and arrive in the box to score goals. hence my ideal and realistic signings would be: Hazard will go to who pays highest wages i guess huntlear to stay at schalke ade to go back to man city Damiao possibly if united dont get in first remy maybe hoilett not sure he is good enough vertonghen seems to favour gooners now and we still sitting on our hands. Like to see us sign rossi berbatov and demba ba up front. Caulker to play at back and naughton to challenge walker for right back. baines from everton to compete at left back. a n other CB needed. just my opinion. Thoughts?
