25 mil for Oscar and Chelsea snaps him up FFs top quality and rumours have it we are after 2 mil of add ins with Madrid for mod. The money we get for him would have funded the deal for Oscar. Typical spurs just rumours no movement. Oh well besides it free to enquire and to be linked with world beater
Mr g

Believable1 Unbelievable0

Oscar won't be at Chelsea for long. With the midfielders they have, he better get used to the bench

Agree3 Disagree0

Mr g, your posts always seem so negative! 'g' stand for grumpy? - we have no champs league, maybe we offered £30m but the player chose the current european champs. Get real with who we can expect at the lane and cheer the f*ck up!
mr h

Agree1 Disagree0

Better. So I have high expectations for my club. What get me grumpy is being linked to players we can't get.

Modric out, Sessegnon in?

Believable1 Unbelievable4

Any truth in the sessegnon rumour Ed? {Ed008's Note - Their's interest it's whether the club want to follow up with a bid very good player.

Agree0 Disagree1

Would be well happy if we bought a couple of top strikers say Falcao and Damaio.

Agree1 Disagree0

What about this Jose Rondon striker guy anyone rate him.Swap with Dos Santos anyone?

Agree0 Disagree1

Sessengon sigurdsson. Commentators nightmare... {Ed008's Note - Haha Post of the Day!

Agree3 Disagree0

Sessegnon would be a great buy add 2 strikers sturridge and Ba or leandro damaio

Do you really think the likes of Oscar,Damiao,Julio Cesar or Henrique will come to us?? Our existing Brazilian players cant get a run of games!! do people really think there gonna give the likes of Oscar, Damiao etc a glowing reference for the club?? Sandro was immense against the milan clubs and then cant get a game, yes parker was awesome last season but should of been rested more. I think the players we have signed so far will make the difference this season (ages since we had a proper goal scoring mid) and i cant wait for modders to go (its getting boring now) hoping for moutinho but theres no way levy will pay £30+ mill for anyone.

Believable5 Unbelievable1

Look on the bright side Levy wants the best for WHL and AVB will do what you probably can't so start thinking positive and not being negative about what does and doesn't happen

Agree0 Disagree1

Sandro's problem last season was the injury he picked up in the summer, forced us to go get Parker who then played a blinder for the first 2/3's of the season. When Sandro came back he was clearly rusty and didnt show his true ability until the last 4 or 5 games when Parker was finally forced to step aside due to injury/being over used.

At £5m, Berbatov is not much of a gamble. On transfer fees alone, £10m for Adebayor and Berbatov, proven Prem strikers, proven goalscorers, good footballers - bargain! I know the wages are a different issue as they're pricey between the two but just who else are we going to sign up front which is something we must address?
If we do get one of the £20-25m signings we'd all like; Damaio, KJH or even higher at £30m+ for Falcao, it's going to come with the risk of them not having played in the Prem League and a fair wage packet anyway. I for one would certainly want Berbs back at £5m rather than up to £20m on Remy who could be a total flop.

Believable5 Unbelievable4

Sorry but, personally, resigning a player that sulked his way out of the door to get the move he wanted is a bad idea. This is the same player who "loves" Man U and will leave with a heavy heart. I dont think many of us would welcome him back with open arms somehow.
Super y*d

Agree1 Disagree0

Didnt Berba go "on strike" at some stage before he left? Oh yeah, red carpet job!

Agree1 Disagree0

This episode was at sunderland whilst he was on the bench.refused to go on late in the game, showing jol a total lack of respect.

Yh but apart from lack of loyalty a love for manx lack of respect and his age..he still scores goals..if his goals won us something next season would we care. to be honest its a judgement call.

Ant

Agree0 Disagree0

It was ramos he disrespected(and to be fair ramos did all he could to screw us up). I for one would welcome him back.sold for 30mill plus and sign him for 5 mill

Falcao; Hulk; oh and Damaio (obviously)... ..this is all starting to look similar to the previous 2 transfer windows?

I just hope we don't end up with another last minute Saha bargain!

Also; why drag out this Modric saga - Understand business requires negotiating and posturing - but surely this is worth settling sooner so we can focus on a pre-season with his replacement (who remains unknown?

As much as I enjoy the "fantasy football" squad game - it would be nice to know our business is done so we focus on the football

Hey spurs fans I'm a Chelsea fan coming in peace. That being said I'm not sure how you feel but I think avb was a great hire for you guys. Despite the fact he blasted my club I agree that the directors gave him an extremely difficult task of transforming our team and when results weren't good they used him as a scapegoat. While he couldve gone about some things better I still think he has a good shot at having success with your club. First off your player power isn't anything approaching the horrendous situation at Chelsea with players refusing to perform for him. Also I think your team matches up better with him. Your defense is tailor made for avb with 4 mobile players all of whom can move the ball around (with the exception of Kabul potentially). You've got a solid midfield regardless of what happens with modric although I believe you could use one more player in the siggurdson category of he goes. Up front i think you guys could use a little minor tinkering but nothing major. Its a formality you'll get adebayor who will fit in nicely but I think you could use another winger with bale and Lennon not being the most injury resistant players. I also think you should add a goalie for the future but that's all minor stuff. Overall I think he will do much better for you guys than us and I wish you guys good luck in the upcoming season!

Give this guy a medal please...

One of the best and most unbiased written posts from another rival club supporter I have seen on here, and I have been on here for quite some time.

Agree with your post apart from Kaboul, I think he is a great defender and will only get better. use to run up the pitch like a headless chicken like David Luiz, but since his "loan" to Portsmouth, he has matured immesely.

But nice post TK

Better than most posts on here by our own supporters.

Interesting comment from tk about needing another winger, when your still top of the betting to sign sess from my club,SAFC! i also think avb will be a good fit for you.

Agree0 Disagree0

We have enough people come on our site and post pointless crap so I thought I'd change it up. That being said I can't imagine you guys finish behind arsenal.

Why not keep luka and bring in Moutinho
to play alongside him?

Diego

Believable0 Unbelievable3

We would not be able to afford both, especially when we need Strikers!

moutinhos not on big
wages at Porto. If we get rid of 9 and bring in 5 I think we would be able to afford it.
