Dear santa was a very good boy last year although the smelly set, socks and undercrackers were nice as a frustrated spurs fan (cos we're so close to having a fantastic team last few seasons) i demand better pressies so ive come up with a list AND I WANT IT NOOOOWWW

1)Moutinho - best midfielder we've been linked with by a mile this guy is sooo gifted

2)Negrado - Moutinho ghosts past 2 players and delivers a slide rule pass into the path of Adebayor who's first touch is woeful.... NO NO NO NO he passes to Negrado who's left foot shot rifles in the net before the keeper had chance to move

3)Belhanda- They say the "new" Robert Pirès... how cheeky is that because this youngster looks the real deal i'm thinking future Cristiano Ronaldo in a spurs shirt

Thanks Santa

Great christmas list to santa but levy won't give santa the money! we will end up with socks, pants (ady) and a chocolate orange ( levy's past transfer window signing saha) but give levy credit he aren't charging £62 per ticket yet.

Lets hope for a top signing this window top four here we come if we do!

Hi guys

Not any rumours here or fake news just a rant at some so called spurs fans !

Why do people slag levy ? The man is without doubt one if the best chairmen in the gane, he is known for being tight, frugal whatever but the fact is he has spend a net £220m in his 12 years and transformed us into a top 6 side, generating money, building one of the best training centres and hopefully a brand new WHL !
Granted he has never got that 20-30m striker we all want but until we are CL regulars with a 50-60000 stadium he won't ! That's no way to run any business
And besides who actually said we want llorente, negredo, sneijder, to name 3 - the press do - not AVB not Freud .
Levy has worked wonders and will continue to do so, and just watch us go once we have over double income per home gane coming in and fantastic sponsorship rights

In levy we trust

Still going to sing his name if we sell bale and get average to replace

As everyone says levy is first a business man and second a football fan. well we know he has a good business head on his shoulders and he also knows the big financial booty champions league is a strong possibilty so it would make commercial sense to spend but as in any business transaction, wisely. he bought in avb to do a job i am sure he will equip him to do it. WE are a team on the up.that lad holtby is real class

What, when we are a team used to finishing just outside the top four year after year . Why, as Spurs supporters, should we have to settle for nearly being there all the time, why can't we want to finish top two, three ? Why settle for nearly being the best ? As loyal fans we spend probably thousands of pounds a year following Spurs, and we are not allowed to want the best for our team ? Yes, Levy is a good business man as every one always says, and I do believe he wants what's best for the club . But he also makes huge cock ups that has cost the club money, christian gross, ramos, the money spent trying to get the olympic stadium, need I go on, the money wasted on the olympic stadium would have probably brought lorente !! Dont walk around with rose tinted specs, Levy does what he wants, not only for the club but for himself and Lewis ! There isnt a fan, manager, player or any person in football that knows you have to speculate to accumalate ! You don't have to bankrupt your club to get the right players as proven by Swansea, everton, villa etc . There are exceptional players waiting to be found out there, unfortunately we don't have the scouting system and we also have a chairman who likes to piss off the other chairman with his attitude, is a total tight arse, and likes to keep treat the supporters like mushrooms, keep them in the dark and feed them s**t ! For the last three seasons we had Arry as his mouthpiece, ' we tried for this player and that player but couldnt agree on this, but we did try ' and the same will happen again . On the last day of the window, we will be running around like headless chickens and then all the excuses will come rolling out yet again ! And to top it all, we will still be stuck with crap like Jenas, bentley, gomes, gallas, drawing nice big wage packets and giving us f**k all in return ! Yes, we will soon have a nice big stadium, and because we are all so loyal it will be filled every game, but we will still all be sat there wondering when we will be a top three team consistently, and how that bit of investment might have helped . Because until you play CL regular, then the top players won't even look at us !

I agree ..but how much more money would be available it we played CL every season ? A lot less debt would be required to build the new stadium perhaps. Just a thought.

The problem with the deadwood is they are on fantastic contracts that they won't get elsewhere, hence they don't move, regardless of the fact that they're footballers and are not playing.
sure levy makes mistakes, but lets not forget that our maximum attendance is 36000, we don't regularly win things or play cl football.
hence the big players, on big wages go elsewhere.once we sign a big player and give him big money, the rest of the squad want them.
caught between a rock and a hard place is levy.

Gallas has given a fair bit this season. Jenas even made an appearance, thankfully breif!

Given a bit yes, but unfortunately to the other teams ! Yes he looks good against the bottom teams but so does john terry !

It will be interesting to see if Levy makes funds available this month or indeed is there any money in the pot.
Most clubs have published their accounts up to the end of May or June 2012 however unless I have missed something we haven't heard anything yet from Spurs which is strange when you look back to the 2011 figures which were published on November 15th 2011 and the clubs AGM was done and dusted in December.
Is anyone in the know as to why the delay?

Believable0 Unbelievable0

Not sure if I am right here, but I thought we had been taken off the stock exchange and therefore do not have to publish their accounts, maybe 1 of the Eds can confirm whether this is the case or not

Agree about not being a listed company but Spurs are still a limited company that has to prepare and publish accounts.

Banter please Ed .
I for one thought that Arry spoke a lot of BS when talking about who he wanted in the transfer window and how they wouldn't come . Could be quite a coup if he manages to sign m, vila and Remy, two french internationals, playing in the championship next year ?
Davo

Believable2 Unbelievable0

If they sign for QPR it will be for all the wrong reasons, apparently Remy is going to be on over £70,000 a week.

Agree1 Disagree1

M'villa =trouble

Remy = not good enough.

Good signings for QPR tho. Not for spurs.

Agree5 Disagree1

Do we really care what qpr do
mr g

Agree1 Disagree1

Should have guessed it was down to money, bloody mercenaries ! But championship football ???
Davo

Agree0 Disagree0

Mr g....but of a silly comment.
That comment was saying that those players are good enough for QPR, but not spurs.
If you don't understand a comment, ask, instead of posting tosh

Agree0 Disagree1

Notice its the same players mentioned for QPR as for us when Arry was here? Saha will be there next.

Just throwing this out there for comments. How would we feel about Wilfried Bony. Fast, Strong, holds up the ball and can play alone upfront. What do you guys think about taking a gamble on him?

Royal Yid

Believable2 Unbelievable2

Forgot to mention top scorer of the Eredivisie and only 24. Other than this season he was scoring 10-15 a season in 20-30 games in the last 3 years.

RY

Loads of potential, but another one at AFCON tournament, so if Levy was to consider him, it would almost certainly be a summer investment.

Funny enough we are all banging on about a
Striker to be signed ASAP. But I really think
That wez is the missing link for us. He can
Take a good free kick he can finish and more
Importantly I think he has the class and
Style to unlock stubborn defences like qpr
On Saturday. Lets face it that is our
Achilles heal this season, and more and
More teams are doing this to us. Also I
Did say back in November that wez would
Be awesome
Mr g

Believable2 Unbelievable3

Sorry for my ignorance Mr G, who is wez, I think its to early in the morning !!

Agree0 Disagree1

Sorry ....... Wesley sneijder
Mr g

Agree0 Disagree0

Well said Mr G but do you know what's funny? If we do sign him he'll be playing the modric role which Allows dembele to play further foward. Sneijder is the type of player spurs have needed for years. A passer, can dictate tempo and most importantly has a hunger for goals!
if we manage to sign a striker too and ship out the odd Dempsey and huddlestone then we would all be laughing.
