Reading between the lines, we bought no one in transfer window of any stature because better for cash to be in books if you're trying to sell. Stadium plans just about finished one or two things to pull off, and then sell, new company comes in builds stadium gets major publicity can bring in lots of sponsors . Think enic are going, sooner rather than later . There's no smoke without fire .

A couple of Questions after today's game,
1- should Dembele start ahead of Bentaleb every time? He stood out above everybody playing that game today, offers so much more than Bentaleb .
2- Why did we buy Davies? Yes Rose is playing better so far but only going forward? His defending is still Awful!
3- Why didn't we buy a goalscorer? The amount of chances created yet again makes me wonder! Yes the goalie had a blinder but those chances were begging to be put away and should have been!

1. Yes. 2. We needed a left back, its competition and its upto Davies to prove his worth. 3. We also have Soldado, we don't need another striker, a wing forward is what we need.

Dembele has to start everytime now, Bentaleb will be a Jake Livermore. The LB situation is still critical. Rose should of been sold and 2 LBs bought, the spanish LB Liverpool got and Davies, but no, the cheap options was taken as usual. We have 2 strikers you cannot count Harry Kane as a PL striker. It all comes back to Levy and his lack of ambition and investment.

Fair enough Spurski, I am a Soldado fan . But we need to take those chances no matter who the goalie is! Look at costa today!

Lucas, yeah that's right blame it on Levy, you obviously haven't got a clue when it comes down to finances. I constantly mention ffpr, do you know what it means?

Why didn't we just appoint Lucas in the summer as manager and chairman.

i said last week we will pay for not buying a striker on transfer deadline day. we should have won easy today but with no top class finisher at the club that's going to happen all season. same old spurs

Ade is hit snd miss. Kane just ain't a top 5/6 striker. We need to give bobby a run of games. In my opinion, when fit, he needs to be our first choice striker. Give him until the new year. If he continues to fail, then we need to spend. Last season, he scored a hatrick in Europa, was then dropped. He scored and looked good against Cardiff, was then dropped. He needs a run. Him and Eric seem to click. Let them have a go I say. Maybe desperation I know but what do we gave to lose. MP got the best out if Jay Rod, he could work wonders with bobby.

That is what you call robbery, how lucky do Sunderland want to get.

Thats what happens when you have to bring on players like Harry Kane. he's ok in the group phase of the Europa but massively out of his depth in PL, he isn't even championship standard. Kane being given a 5yr deal just confirms that its time for ENIC to sell.

Goes deeper than Kane Lucas . I am not his biggest fan and agree with your thoughts about him! Take Ade, holds the ball up well, does seem to be trying hard as well for the team but no killer instinct . We make the chances but our forwards seem to make the goalies look good against us, it's always a good save rather than a bad miss!

In training Kane is very very good, its just taking him a while to show it in games. Do you think Pochettino is stupid? He sees Kane training every day, do you? Can't believe people slate this lad, a local lad with huge potential, you'll see.

Again can't believe all this negativity towards Levy. We have a small stadium compared to other top teams so our income is less. We have to comply with ffpr now too.

Levy has done wonders for our club. Yes he has made mistakes but every chairman does.

Come on Spurski do you watch Spurs train everyday? Every pro footballer has 10 stories of players that were amazing in training but couldn't produce on the pitch, not that this is believable about Kane anyway. Who cares if Kane is english or came through the acadamy its not the point. That small stadium has the 2nd most expensive tickets in the PL and before the last transfer window it was a £46.3m net profit on all transfers since 2010. Levy is just milking us and ENIC will make hundreds of millions from our sale and that is what this was all about.

Agree1 Disagree1

Spurski, even I can look good in training, Obika, bostock, Rebrov, all looked good in training as well . Anyway can we get in to watch them train, might be a fun day out?
As for Kane, most of the comments on here about him don't say he isn't a good player, just not top 5/6 . As for levy and Lewis, if the yanks come to the table then they will get just what they have been hoping for,
A bloody good profit on their investment in a team that's been held back and stifled by lack of investment, Levys consistent manager changing policy and Levy's permanent meddling in something he knows very little about, the football team . As a business man making money for Enic and himself, he is the best and what a business man!
