i hope this is some good news for some fans . seems jay rodriguez is done and dusted . before you all start mouthing off, I don't do the transfer rumours nonsense but this is all sorted .

robhotspur67

1.) I would say it depends how he is after he recovers from his injury

2.) 12 Nov 2014 18:31:54
The last thing Jay Rod would need straight after an injury like he is still recovering from is to have to train and play MoPos plan A. Don't see it happening, and certainly not in January, as RoKo sees him as part of his plan and suspect will want to see how he can fit in through to the summer. We did enjoy MoPos time at Saints but we can see how RoKo is an improvement, and the squad obviously feel the same.

If it does happen, you will have been sold a pup (a crippled one)!

3.) 12 Nov 2014 23:33:00
I don't reckon we are in for him at the moment and espcially not in January that's way too soon after his injury, a massive gamble at a big fee which is what Southampton would want.

For the 15m+ they would want there are better players than him out there to be got.

23 jul 2014 21:57:54
its official, weve just signed ben davies and vorm . get in there .

robhotspur67

1.) 24 Jul 2014 07:14:43
Strange when I reported this weeks ago I was ridiculed. Lloris will be off to PSG shortly, all agreed weeks ago.

2.) Okay, so you landed a couple of transfers correctly, but why would Lloris sign a 5 year deal, and leave, and openly admit to wanting to stay. And then what, our only available options are Vorm and Friedel. Don't be silly.

3.) 24 Jul 2014 12:11:18
Hugo will be away next summer. Signing new deals don't mean anything in today's market . Only to increase value if anything

4.) 24 Jul 2014 13:46:25
This site is full of hypocritical people that add very little themselves and throw stones from greenhouses.

It seems you are domed when you get it wrong and doomed when you get it right.

Lloris extending his contract simply adds value to any potential transfer. PSG will stump up the cash and he will be off very soon.

5.) I didn't mention next Summer, and then a lot of that depends on what we do this year.

At the same time if we have Hugo tied down to a long term deal we would be talking a huge amount of money, and I do not see a 30 year old Vorm being the long term replacement for a goalkeeper who is a) World Class and b) 3 years younger.

Nonsense.

6.) 24 Jul 2014 21:24:47
Our two keepers are Vorm with Friedel.

PSG have already offered the money we need, Levy just trying to get another £8 million to boost the transfer kitty.

{Ed008's Note - Contracts mean nothing in Football these days only yesterday Astori a Cagliari defender signs a new contract next day he's joined Roma only in Football..

7.) Oracle, How much does Levy want for LLoris?

8.) Oh Oracle, you are constantly hoisted by your own petard if you didn't use words like guaranteed, definite, a hundred percentage then you wouldn't be slated so much. Everyone loves a rumour and to be given hope of the impossible signing you just need to learn how to play your crowd

9.) 25 Jul 2014 17:14:18
@ Oracle, do you really consider Vorm to be our replacement for lloris for the rest of the season?

I sincerely hope this is not the case. I believe he is a good back up, at best.

As I stated above, this is nonsense, and the reason for it is because we would not be able to replace a Goalkeeper of Lloris, unless we managed to gain a march on other clubs signing Casillas for a very low fee.

10.) 25 Jul 2014 22:02:36
He is our replacement for Lloris, face it PSG have got him.

11.) Sorry to do this oracle. This is a post you posted a few months ago.
03 Mar 2014 22:19:40
Daniel Levy is about to put every single doubter to shame over the summer, and Franco Baldini will have his chance to redeem his purchases.

Firstly we all know that Louis Van Gaal is coming to take over the helm. Sherwood will be sacked at the end of the season, and Van Gall will begin the massive rebuilding plans.

Firstly Roberto Soldado will be used as a play weight with Athletico Madrid for Diego Costa. Levy will obvious try the straight swap, but expect Soldado + £15m to be nearer the mark.

Next we will see Lamela traded in a straight swap for Mario Balotelli. With both valued around £28m which on paper sound fair, but Lamela is out of form and Balotelli is on fire. However Lamela has real pedigree in La Liga with Roma, and Balotelli has had his usual disagreements with the club.

Then we will see Gomes released and wait for it Lloris sold for £30m to PSG. In will come Stekelenburg from Fulham for £8m.

I have my hard hat on so let me have it!

The Oracle

I must admit you did get the Vorm thing correct but only after it was in the media. No mention ever of Davies or a new contract for Hugo. I've read back through your 'predictions'. They did make me chuckle hence the 'copy and pasting' I have supplied.
Great work tho. Keep it up.

12.) Well Oracle the question remains what have PSG offered that Levy wants 8m more.

13.) Even if Vorm is our new keeper, there is no way we can go into the new season with Friedel as backup - it would be financial suicide if Vorm gets an injury.

14.) COYMFS - you need a life on a Friday night . Searching back all that way to find the one time Oracle was wrong :-)

15.) It was just an example yellow. He is always wrong though. This post was a gem. Just wanted to share. By the way, because of the ed's amazing work on here, searching takes seconds and it nullifies the wife's moaning in the background as I secretly chuckle to myself :-)

16.) My god yellow, you are right. The guy has got me obsessed :-).
I love reading 'itk' but, as on other sites, the poster contributes the itk name ie, gards, jj, the goat. I just wish oracle would do that instead of claiming it to be all his own info. Now a regular 'nonsense' post would be great on here oracle. Avid spurs followers will know what I mean. Maybe I should just stick to news now instead if getting myself wound up :-)

17.) I think we all love reading ITK and dreaming of what might be, it's part of being a fan of any team. For some reason our club excels at letting us dream and then letting us crash back down to the Europa League.

sometimes I despair at Tottenham fans . can't believe that people can't recognize that spurs for the first time in years are going in the right direction . son looks brilliant , alli looks brilliant , kane looks brilliant , townsend is looking much better as is lamella .wimmer and alderwiereld look great centre backs , i'd be tempted to stick with alderweield and wimmer and stick vertognen on the left , we've cleared out the deadwood ,we are bringing the youth thru , we have a quality manager who knows how to structure the club , were fiter than ever as a team , we have a quality goalkeeper . the main negative I see at the moment is spurs fans and yeah we don't have bale .

robhotspur67

1.) 18 Sep 2015 16:33:20
Great post. Just wish the boo boys could see the same quality we have within our team. You forgot to mention our state of the art training centre and great stadium on the way though haha.

2.) 18 Sep 2015 19:34:32
I've done my knocking , but all the poison is out of the lane , and I agree things are heading in the right direction , stadium on line youth on line , manager must be backed, there are going to be hiccups but with all that talent and with youngsters who know they will get a chance if they train hard and work hard they get a shot unlike the others that buy mercenary's, keep it up spurs , there's something positive happening at spurs and a winning mentality growing which all the youngsters will benefit from that's why adebyour had to go last bad apple 🍎, mopo the ruler and captain of the ship all aboard are set for a journey into unknown territory if we believe in him, and they believe in him , which is evident in the players faces .C.O.Y.S.

3.) 18 Sep 2015 20:14:55
Agree with much of your post although not sure on your comments re Llamela :)

I have aired my views on Levy which I know divides us Spurs fans but everyone needs to get behind Poch and the team, time is needed and booing is obviously counter productive.

That said I wouldn't say the boo boys were the main negative, although I would say the lack of Spurs fans at the Lane is a worry especially with the new stadium on the way. 26,000 will look ridiculous in a new 60,000 seater!! What was the price of last nights tickets? A whopping £20 which speaks for itself.

I mentioned Poch needs time however with a chairman like we have and as the pressure of filling the new stadium starts to loom let's hope we see this young team develope and performances improve steadily.

Lets be honest here last night was a shocker by any standards, yes we got the job done but collectively it was poor. On the Positive Alli, Son and Wimmer looked good and I have to say Alli looks like he could become a real player! I also think Son is a fantastic signing and will clearly become a fans favourite in my view.

Palace on Sunday and let's hope for 3 points, a good performance and a happy WHL

Questions to all Spurs fans? What do you see as the target for Spurs this season? What would be seen as a successful season or progress?

4.) 18 Sep 2015 22:24:50
Personally I would love 7th. I think a year out of Europa League and concentrate on playing well once a week would do us good. Going to nowhere every other thursday always hampers weekend League results.

5.) 18 Sep 2015 23:34:58
Success this season - Top 6 and a serious run at winning the Europa, with the players coming together and starting to play consistently as a cohesive team and performing to their ability regularly.

That will require a tight defense, a creative midfield/wide play and goals bring scored regularly. Players like Chadli and Eriksen can not go missing as often as they do. Eriksen has to step up in the big games if we are to be Top 6.

njie alli and Pritchard to start against everton .
sell townsend, lamella, lennon and adebayour .
buy wanyama, lavezzi and Montero( Swansea winger ) and ill be a very happy spur.
any thoughts?

robhotspur67

1.) 26 Aug 2015 09:24:52
Don't buy Lavezzi , I would be happy with the rest!

2.) 26 Aug 2015 10:32:32
They might as well start, the tiniest chance of top 4 has gone now. Lennon's a strange situation, why has Poch got the hump with him? Overall you would have Lennon ahead of Townsend and Lamela all day. Montero, Wanyama/Illarramendi, Mahrez and Chicharito would be an acceptable transfer window, other than the lateness.

3.) 26 Aug 2015 11:17:21
always liked lennon . and townsend for that matter but they both have the same issue . blinding pace , exciting but they run into cul de sacs and neither has a final ball . levy has stuffed our manager once again , if you are going to penny pinch do it early on , everyone knows levys games now and I'm sure more an more clubs simply don't like doing business with spurs . illaramendi / mahrez / chicharito would be nice . at the end of my wits , everyday hoping and nothing .how many times have spurs needed 2 players to challenge and levy shuts up shop . thank you for your business acumen Daniel and the stadium . now will you please just sell .

4.) 26 Aug 2015 11:45:33
Lennon won't play for the club again. Apparently he complained about the training under Poch which did not go down well.

5.) 26 Aug 2015 13:34:03
The tv money has changed everything and Daniel's transfer policy has had it's time. Clubs like WBA are not going to be held over a barrel by the likes of Levy any more. WBA hold all the cards with Berahino, they can charge what they want and they don't have to sell. A top manager like Kloop or Ancelotti just would not work under these conditions and that's why we won't ever have a top manager, only yes men. Poch should offer some sought of olive branch and show how good his coaching skills are by being the one who teaches Lennon what to do when in these positions.

6.) 27 Aug 2015 00:43:09
The main reason for getting rid of Lennon is his lifestyle. He is constantly going out clubbing and getting drunk with his chav wannabe rudeboy mates, turning up for training late and playing crap. He is full of attitude and was one of the players who ganged up with Kaboul and Adebayor. Lennon has himself to blame, good riddance.

totally agree, last thing we need is a crock but as long as he is fit, its got to be good news .

been racking my brain trying to put a finger on the problem . yes everytime danny rose gets the ball the move ends and yes adebayour is merely wondering what he will buy next with his money and yes soldado and lamela are too weak and yes vertonghen and eriksen look like they don't want to be there and yes pretty much whoever we buy turns to crap and on and on . worryingly though it lookslike potteccino is hating managing these over payed prima donnas, they have no heart, no steel, no passion . I have finally come to the conclusion as with every company I've worked for it starts at the top . levy and baldini are the rot at spurs and nothing will change til they go . the team, everyone looks miserable and its more than they are not playing well, thers no feel good factor coming from the top . I feel like i'm in dantes inferno and this is the tenth circle of hell .

Davies, vlaar, vertonghen, walker .sounds to me a better defence than arsenals and without vermaelan, arsenal could struggle, they look very strong up front this year but if we get bony or destro then so will we . what an amazing year this is looking . as for gareth bales comments, what a muppet, having 3 of the best teams in the world and a pile of nobodies does not make a great league . I think real madrid and barcelona are becoming obscene, feel sorry for the rest of there league . tottenham, city, arsenal, chelsea, united, liverpool and everton and 13 dogged teams, that makes a great league .

Lamela definately looked sharp, townsend looked like he was starting to play as a team . holtby is looking hungry as ever . still jus the defence that's lagging . love dawson but has to go, vlaar would be a nice upgrade, walker was looking like his old self, which will be like having a new signing . a striker, a lb and a cd still needed but definately getting there . coys .
