if les arses and Liverpool contest the fa cup final,does this mean 7th qualifies for the Thursday/sunday treadmill?

I think you are right bucks spur.If we do finish 7th, to avoid the dreaded Thursday night trips to the arse end of Europe we need Reading or Villa to lift the FA Cup.I don't think that beaten finalists can qualify for the EL anymore??

Arsenal beating Vila will do you nicely lads, leaving Vila Liverpool and Southampton to try and cope with the worst reward in football.
Thursday/Monday has to be the answer and CL -1 qualifier for winner's same as winning the 4th place trophy and - 2 Round for runners up and -3 round for the 2 losing semi finalists.
Making the games less draining plus more prizes that are really worth having is the answer to ugly duckling competition

From this year, if the winner of the fa cup is already in Europe, instead of the place going to the losing finalist, it adds a place in the league. So if we beat villa, spurs have to finish 8th to avoid the europa league.
