Mr G,

You're consistently posting that you want Levy out and Lewis to sell up.
Who would you like to see take over, some one like the Glazers who'll burden us with debt. Or maybe someone like Tan at Cardiff - change our kit to red and (potentially) sack the manager on a whim. Or maybe someone like the Hull owner - it'll be the Tottenham Cockerels (or a shorter version perhaps) next season!
The running of the club and our league positions have improved since ENIC & Levy's involvement, you'd be blind not to see it.
You've bleated on for ages about Levy not spending and when he does, you're still not happy.
I'm guessing you'll never be happy - but be careful what you wish for.
As for having 'Arry back - please, really!

Well said Wembley yid! Finally a spurs fan with some positivity! Some of the posts on here recently are that negative that I've wanted to slit my wrists!

4th, 5th, 4th, 5th - very consistent lately. It is just very frustrating that it could and very much should have been 4th, 5th, 3rd, 4th, we had huge chances that we totally blew away. It would have mean being established as a Champions League club by now, who knows who might have stayed or signed. The right relatively minor investment at the right times would've sealed it.

Anyway, agree with Wembley person to a certain extent except, Levy has re-invested the funds realised in the summer, yes he's spent it but he hasn't spent it if you know what I mean.

We swapped £100m+ of market value worth of players for £100m+ of market value worth of players. Despite all the other nuances about how it was right or wrong, those are the figures. People go on about wages but, I doubt the wage bill has got much bigger because the players released and sold weren't all cheap earners and we've not made a string of £80-100k a week signings I don't think.

To all the above. It's easy to point out the not so good chairman at clubs. He has only invested in what he has brought in and made a profit. Also look at Liverpool owner 200k a week bumper deal for their best player as they see how important it is to keep the best also they hire a manager put trust in him and let him buy who he wants within reason and backs him. Levy is not doing things at spurs for the love of the club. It's a money making club to them and that's it.Every quality player we have ever had at spurs have been sold for a profit. The players brought in all came with re sell value. Haha lucky for is they are not producing so no 30mil bid for eriksen ATM. Tell me what they have done. They bought a missive club at a bargain price. Buy players and sell then on for huge profit. Face it levy is out of his depth and kissing it slowly. Times have changed there is a lot of money around in prem now.

Have to say I can see both sides of the arguement from Wembley & Mr G. What I would say is AVB signed up as head coach not manager, so there's no point him complaining about not wanting certain players, he knew what he signed up for.
I think whoever takes over would be a fool to not have the title of Manager with a certain level of control over incomings & outgoings. Who is Levy to tell AVB what formation or player to pick, he's a business man not a football man & is not qualified to judge players or tactics. If Andre wanted ADE out of the squad he should be gone or not part of first team squad, if you allow players who are disruptive or working against you, your doomed.
Levy needs to butt out of team affairs & stick to the business side of the club, in fact he has shown he can't pick a manager, so if it was me I'd relieve him of that duty if I was Joe Lewis, let a panel of Baldini, Mabbut, Ardiles, Pleat decide instead or someone qualified to judge managers.
Overall there's a lot of things Levy has done well & we have made great strides as a club, although he is quilty of jumping from 1 strategy to the next ( from English players to foreign) ( DOF 2 not 2 Dof)(experienced Manager 2young coach2?). Stick to a strategy & stop jumping from 1 to the other.
We are not a massive club MrG, we are a big club not a massive 1, so we need to asses Levy on that basis, Should Levy go? Definately not IMO, sometimes it's better the Devil you know.

Liverpool and their "bumber deal" is just a ploy to get as much as they can from a potential transfer, he will still go. Bale signed a new 4 year deal a year before we sold him. I'm sure that you were one of the fans saying that we had to sell him for that price, who wasn't?

Think the AVB sacking is a mistake as he can't be fully responsible and I think he was very intellegent and the players seemed to love him (Apart from the Judas's),
