Dears Mr Levy,
I have been a critic of yours for a good few years, and I think you deserved it but I would like to say ' a very very big thank you ' for the very large investment in our club this transfer window! I know that when its all balanced out against our sales etc, its practically break even but we can't complain!
Not only did you get us probably one of the best managers in the premier league, but we now have not only one of the squads but one of the best teams .
So although I am not going to apologise, I do thank you from deep inside, and I am pleased to do so!
Ps
Being cheeky now but could you do two other things!
Give Ade a kick up the arse and tell him to shape up or ship out, and tell Real Madrid to stick their partnership up their arse and sign one with Yeovil town instead!

Due to the fact that I live near Yeovil, I do pay a particular interest in there goings on and results as well as the mighty Spurs and I am pretty sure that they already have a partnership with Barcelona going on. I think Messi learnt his trade there on a loan deal in his early years!

Large investment.! Sorry did I miss something.? because from where iam sitting we have only spent about 5 mill net. If that. Plus we ave probs got more off the wages than what we brought in. Yes we now have a much better squad but we no longer ave that world class player. Yes the new signings could develop but they are not proven yet. All I can say aswell is if soldado gets injured we are bk to square one of having two not good enough strikers. that's if ade will even play for us again. So personally I can't see hw we have had a massive investment. We have just spent what we got. We may have enough to last us till jan but then i'd expect 2 top signings not squad players then we may see the investment

When we say a 'large investment' it doesn't always mean financial.
We have made a large investment in the squad, signing 7 international players. Our squad is significantly better than last season.
We have replaced bale, Hudds, Parker, Livermore, caulker with paulinho, erikson, lamela, cappoue, chariches, soldado and chadli. Now, only a blinkered person doesn't see that as an upgrade and as for no world class player, have you seen much if erikson or lamela? They are young, both very very good and can develop into better players. Hy some spurs fans always look for negatives is beyond me.
Just stand up and get behind your team ffs, instead if moaning about ifs and buts. I praise levy for what he has done this window and you are right, he ain't spent a penny. Top business in my book.

Glass half full or half empty?
Net spend this window I believe actually puts about £2.5M in Levy's pocket! Plus the TV money etc means there is a big profit already in terms of hard cash. Certainly a good year for investers one would expect. Maybe even more could have therefore been spent on players, but 7 is already a lot and they are all better than current it seems (as Bale has gone). So, its all good business and if it works, it is also all good for Spurs. We might have wanted more, but 2 months ago would have dreamed happily of less. Proof of the pudding is in the eating so we need to just let the team come together for a few weeks and can really only judge the success later in the season. It will all be about games won, points got and silverware - everything else is just numbers! What I really hope is that Levy, who has netted a profit in 4 of the last 5 seasons through transfers, will take all the money and invest in the club and the new stadium. We don't want to have 10 years of no transfers while we try and pay for it, we want to take hard fought capital and invest it for the long term. I am sure Levy is doing that with some of the players he has brought in - hoping to make money to then re-invest - but he knows success is what brings the most rewards so I am suer he wants this team to go out and win. I am behind the logic and behind the team - COYS!

I think Levy and his team have worked miracles this transfer window. Without champions league football we have managed to attract some of the best talent out there. Davo i'm with you - a BIG thank you to Joe, Levy, Baldini and AVB!

We might have broken even, and some may think this is a negative, but with a new stadium being built and the difficulties that come with integrating too many players I think its very sensible business! COYS
