Rumour has it that Gareth Bale is on his way to Real Madrid for a fee of £85 million but Spurs are looking to utilise that money by placing a £17 million offer for Brazilian international Hulk as his replacement. Spurs were also looking at a striker in there summer recrutment with Jermain Defoe reaching 30 years and Emmanuel Adebayor not reaching expectations spurs are now in the race for Edinson Cavani signature if the Gareth Bale transfer goe ahead.

So Hulk goes for 40/50 mil 6 months ago and then we place a 17 mil offer for Hulk? I see how that works.

I take it were putting a 15 mil bid in for Cavani.

Why not try our luck with a 3 mil bid for Rooney to?

Why don't we just wait and see.
I know one thing though, if we can get hulk for 17million (which I very much doubt), then there is no need to sell bale. Buy hulk, keep bale, get another striker (Gomez/soldado). Get erikson/pjanic. Get one if the 3 brazillians mentioned. £50million spent.

What a load of bull.
Zenit will want much more than that for Hulk, Bale might leave (that's probably the only thing worth crediting in the post) and if Cavani ends up in London (which I fear he will) he will playing in the blue of Chelski.

Ridiculous rumour! Why would AVB come out yesterday and say Bale would not be going to RM? He'd look a fool. Why would Cavani consider us when we can't offer champions league or the wages that some of the other interested clubs could offer? Nice dream though, Hulk and Cavani playing at the Lane
